| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problém imigrace do Spojených států amerických v letech 1863-1904. Práce popisuje příchod přistěhovalců, problémy kterým museli čelit po svém příjezdu na půdu Spojených států amerických. Také popisuje jejich každodenní život, jejich migraci po Spojených státech. Práce se také popisuje názor americké společnosti na problematiku imigrace, americkou imigrační politiku a v neposlední řadě sleduje také problematiku rasismu vůči asiatům, zejména Číňanům. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of the immigration to the United States until the beginning of the 20th century. The thesis describes an arrival of immigrants, problems that rose after their arrival on the soil of the United States. It also describes their everyday life, their flowing across the United States and last but not least describes an American opinion and US state policy regarding that matter. It is also concern in the issue of racism against Asian people, especially Chinese. |
