Abstract:	Cílem práce je shrnutí nejdůležitějšího přínosu práce italského politologa Giovanni Sartoriho politické vědě a její reflexe v české politologické literatuře. Práce je rozdělena na tři logické celky podle tří nosných témat Sartoriho práce - teorie demokracie, strany a stranické systémy a ústavní inženýrství.
Abstract in different language:	The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarize the most important contribution of Giovanni Sartori's work to political science and its reflection in Czech literature.The bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts according to three main branches of Sartori's work, namely the theory of democracy, parties and party systems and constitutional engineering.
