Abstract in different language: The aim of this thesis is to explain basic terms, facts and principles of Aristotle's ethics. The first part of the thesis presents Aristotle?s life and his study, especially ethical studies. The most important work is The Nicomachean Ethics. Other great ethical works are The Eudemian Ethics and The Magna Moralia, which are connected to each other and complement one other. The second chapter applies on basic conceptions of the good and eudaimonia. It is focused on the relation between the good and politics, between the good and the objective of life of every human being, because the good is the highest goal of human actions. To that goal man can gets trough virtues. The next chapter concentrates on virtues. They can be divided into twougroups ? moral and intellectual ? according to their attributes.
