| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je objasnit roli George Washingtona při válce za nezávislost a následném vzniku USA. Práce se dělí na čtyři celky. První celek, kterému odpovídá první kapitola, se věnuje Washingtonovu mládí. Druhý celek - první část druhé kapitoly - se věnuje důvodům, kvůli kterým vypukla válka za nezávislost. Třetí celek, tedy druhá část druhé kapitoly, je nejdelší. Popisuji zde Washingtona jako vrchního velitele americké armády. Poslední celek je popsán ve třetí kapitole. Zabývá se Washingtonem jako prezidentem. |
| Abstract in different language: | My bachelor work describe role of George Washington in formation of USA and in the War of Independence. The work is divided into four parts. The first one is about early life of Gorge Washington. The second part deals with the reasons for the outbreak of the War of Independence.The third part is the most comprehensive. It describes Washington as commander of the U.S. army. The last portion of information is about Washington as president. |
