| Abstract: | V bakalářská práci popisuji historii židovské komunity v Čechách, konkrétněji pak v Plzni. Jedná se o vyobrazení osudů, které židovská komunita ve městě Plzni prožila. Zaměřila jsem se na několik osobností, které k této menšině patřily. Jednalo se převážně o jejich životy v období před druhou světovou válkou a během ní. Pozornost je také kladena na činnost Židovské náboženské obce. Tématem poslední části práce byly hmotné pozůstatky, které se v Plzni nacházejí. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my Bachelor thesis I describe a history of the Jewish community in Bohemia, and more specifically in Pilsen. It is presented destinies of the Jewish community in Pilsen that were experienced during a certain time of period in there. I focused on a few personalities who belonged to this minority. It was mainly described their lives in the time period before World War II and during its course. The attention is also laid on the activities of the Jewish religious community. The theme of the last part of this thesis were material monuments, which are located in Pilsen. |
