| Abstract: | Cílem mé práce je ukázat morfologické a genetické znaky neandertálců, jejich život, symbolické myšlení a geografickou distribuci. Také se zabývám názory na fylogenetický status neandertálců a jejich proměnou v čase. Popisuji koncepty druhu, které se používají v souvislosti s problematikou neandertálců. Zmiňuji klady a zápory jejich fylogenetického statusu a proč by měli být buď samostatný druh, Homo neanderthalensis nebo poddruh Homo sapiens, Homo sapiens neanderthalensis. V závěru práce se zabývám problémem hybridizace a jeho dopadem do fylogenetické systematiky. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this thesis is to show morphological and genetical features of Neanderthals, their life, symbolical thinking and geografical distribution. It also contains opinions about phylogenetic status of Neanderthals and their changes in time. The paper describes species concepts usually mentioned with issue of Neanderthals. It focuses on pros and cons of their phylogenetic status and reasons why they should belong either to Homo sapiens neanderthalensis or to be a distinct species Homo neanderthalensis. The thesis also contains the issue of hybridization and its consequences into phylogenetic systematics |
