Abstract: Hlavním cílem práce je popsat Digitální knihovnu ZČU v Plzni. V teoretické části jsou informace o budování, provozu a využití DK. Praktická část popisuje kvantitativní průzkum. Tento průzkum měl zjistit, zda studenti ZČU (obor Humanistika) znají a využívají Digitální knihovnu. V závěru je popsáno vyhodnocení hypotéz a výsledků, které z průzkumu vyplývají.
Abstract in different language: The main purpose of this thesis is a characterization of the University of West Bohemia Digital Library in Pilsen. The theoretical part consists of information about the construction, operation and usage of the UWB DL. The practical part describes quantitative survey. This survey determines whether students of University of West Bohemia (majoring in Humanities) know and use the Digital Library. The evaluation of the hypotheses and results, which arise from the survey, are described in the conclusion of the thesis.
