| Abstract: | This work is devoted to clarifying differences and similarities between the American and Czechoslovakian 'underground' movements dated to mainly 1960s and 1970s by comparing key text documents characteristic for both cultures. Analyses of these documents supplemented by numerous quotations are accompanied by the illustration of the then political and cultural environment. |
