| cs |

dc.description.abstract-translated | The first aim of the present thesis is to determine whether it is possible to designate an AI as a rational being based on the communication schemes in which they participate. This is done according to Grice's conception of language. The second goal is to investigate whether the AI's ability to communicate provokes negative feelings in humans when they communicate with it. The theoretical background comprises of the Grice's theory of language. An assumption that sci-fi participates at forming our vision of future is made. The practical section deals with the analysis of selected communication models from sci-fi literature in accordance with Grice's conception of communication. | en |
