| Abstract: | V této práci jsem se pokusila popsat sociální aspekty spojené s hraním Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game World of Wracraft. Věnovala jsem se především identifikaci, sociální organizaci a komunikaci v online prostoru. Došla jsem ke zjištění, že nelze postavit jednoznačnou hranici mezi online a offline jednáním, naopak zde existují jasné paralely. Terénní výzkum a uskutečněné rozhovory s hráči by měly ilustrovat sociální realitu, ve které se tito jedinci nacházejí. |
| Abstract in different language: | In this thesis I tried to describe social aspects of playing Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game World of Warcraft mainly according to identification, social organization and communication in online space. I found out that there is no clear boundary between online and offline reality, both of them are connected on the contrary. My field work and interviews with players should illustrate social reality of these individuals. |
