| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá překladem a rozborem díla Invention nouvelle en l´algebre od matematika Alberta Girarda. Práce analyzuje dílo v rámci renesanční a raně novověké matematiky na pozadí dobového myšlení a kulturního kontextu. Překlad díla je doplněn o matematický a lingvistický komentář. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with the translation and analysis of the work Invention nouvelle en l'algebre by the mathematician Albert Girard. The thesis analyzes the work within Renaissance and early modern mathematics on the background of contemporary thinking and cultural context. The translation of the work is complemented by a mathematical and linguistic commentary. |
