| Abstract: | Na téma Panoptikum jsem vytvořila exteriérní výstavu inspirovanou Křížovou cestou. Jedná se o 15 expresivně modelovaných plastik umístěných v přírodě nedaleko Přehýšovských rybníků. Jako hlavní materiál pro svou práci jsem si zvolila keramickou hlínu, se kterou jsem následně i experimentovala. Na vzorcích jsem si vyzkoušela přidání různých materiálů a pozorovala, co se s nimi stane po výpalu. Několik vzorků dopadlo opravdu zajímavě, a proto jsem je použila pro samotné figury. Byla to čočka, textil, slitiny mědi a kovová tkanina. Ačkoliv vzorky pec nepoškodily, u větších plastik by výpal mohl být riskantní. Plastiku s kovovou tkaninou se vypálit podařilo, ale ostatní figury s příměsemi zůstaly nevypáleny. Dosud jsem nepřišla na bezpečný způsob výpalu, ale budu se i nadále touto problematikou intenzivně zabývat. Instalace představuje putování po emocích, které jsem během tvorby pociťovala od první konzultace až po odevzdání. Expozice by měla diváka přimět k zamyšlení nad city druhých a k empatii. Proto je poslední plastika umístěna u přepadu největšího rybníka, neboť toto místo působí velmi klidně a umožňuje nerušené rozjímání. |
| Abstract in different language: | For the Waxworx topic, I created an outdoor exhibition inspired by the Stations of the Cross. My work consists of 15 expressive sculptures located in the nature, near Přehýšov ponds. As the main material for my work, I chose ceramic clay. I experimented with the material and tried many different approaches. For example I added different materials on the samples and observed what will happen to them after firing. Several samples turned out to be really interesting, so I used them for the figures themselves. The most satisfying results I achieved with lentils, textile, copper alloy and metal cloth. Although the samples did not damage the kiln, firing could be risky for larger sculptures. Firing the sculpture with metal fabric was successful. On the other hand figures with other admixtures remained unfired. I haven't come up with a safe way of firing mentioned materials yet, but I will continue to focus on this issue. Theoretically the solution for this could be firing in the outdoor kiln using wood and therefore we would avoid the risk of damaging heating spirals. I'm going to test this theory when I will have a chance. The exhibition represents a journey through the emotions I felt during the creation from the first consultation until the final hand over. The exhibition should make the viewer think about the feelings of others and empathy. Therefore, the last sculpture is located at the overflow of the largest pond, as this place looks very calm and allows undisturbed contemplations. |
