| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout alternativní architekturu mobilního robotu pro ultrazvukovou diagnostiku svarů potrubí. Robot by se měl pohybovat po potrubí z feromagnetického materiálu a sledovat svar, který bude zvýrazněn barevnou čarou kontrastní k barvě potrubí. Informace z okolního prostředí by měly být získávány pouze pomocí kamery umístěné na těle robotu, čili není uvažovaný žádný navigační systém, který by zařízení dodával informace o jeho aktuální poloze a natočení vzhledem k nějakému neměnnému (světovému) souřadnému systému. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis aims to propose an alternative architecture of a mobile robot for an ultrasonic diagnosis of pipeline welds. The robot should move on the surface of the pipeline made of a ferromagnetic material and follow the weld, which will be highlighted by a color contrasting to the color of the pipeline. Information from the environment should be obtained only by a camera mounted on the robot body; thus, it is not considered any navigation system that should provide any information about robot´s current position and rotation with respect to the world coordinate system. |
