| Abstract: | Tématem této práce je porovnat tři postkomunistické politické strany ve třech státech (České republice, Slovensku a Polsku). Před dvěma desítkami let byly všechny tyto země součástí sovětského bloku a v každé z nich se nacházela monopolní státostrana, která koncentrovala všechnu moc ve svých rukou. Po r. 1989 jsou nuceny se moci vzdát a přizpůsobit se novému prostředí. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda se tyto strany transformovaly ve strany sociálnědemokratického typu či zdali transformace selhala. Porovnávány jsou volební výsledky stran, vedení stran, politický program a členství stran v PES a v SI. Slovenská i polská strana prošly úspěšnou transformací, ale jejich český protějšek nikoliv. Přesto si KSČM drží permanentní voličskou podporu, ale chybí ji potenciál vstoupit do vlády. Slovenská i polská strana naopak koaličním potenciálem disponují. Slovenská SDĽ je ale nakonec pohlcena stranou SMER. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis is entitled Post-Communist Left in Central-Eastern Europe - It compares three post-communist left-wing parties in three historically similar states (Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland). Two decades ago, all of these countries were a part of the Soviet block and inside them, there was one monopolist state-party which concentrated all the state power in its hands. After 1989, monopoly parties had to give up their power and adapted to the new environment. My goal was to find out whether these parties are transformed into the Social Democratic Party or whether they failed in their transformation. I compare party election results, party leadership, party political programme and party membership of the PES and SI. Slovakian SDĽ and Polish SLD passed through the party programme's transformation successfully, but their Czech counterparts did not. Nevertheless, the KSČM holds a permanent electoral support and belongs to relevant parties in the Czech Republic. However, KSČM does not have potential to enter into the government. Polish SLD and Slovakian SDĽ were in government at least once until today. Slovakian SDĽ was eventually absorbed by SMER. |
