Abstract in different language: | Languages are very important in the lives of all humans; therefore many researches have been done to discover the principles of the language acquisition. Picking up a language is one way of acquiring a language, formal learning being the other. To the most widespread methods of foreign language learning and teaching belong: Grammar-translation Method, Direct Method and Audio-lingual Method. Dramapedagogy is a process-oriented method that uses games and plays to educate the language learners as well as to enhance the development of their personality. The focus of dramapedagogy is to convey the language in the every-day-life context, not to teach abstract, isolated systems; and to help both the learners and teachers to develop their creativity, originality and imagination. Although there is clear evidence of the benefits brought by dramapedagogy, this method is rather scarce at Czech schools. |
