| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o vztahu mezi sociální integrací Syřanů v ČR a negativním stigmatem, který jim je askribován. Zrealizovala jsem kvalitativní výzkum, abych odpověděla na výzkumné otázky, které jsem zformulovala následovně: Jakými způsoby se Syřané v České republice vyrovnávají s askribovanou stigmatizující identitou? Jak tento proces specificky ovlivňuje jejich sociální integraci? Výsledky výzkumu jsou shrnuty v předkládané práci. Dále práce nabízí krátký přehled teorií etnicity, identity, multikulturalismu, integrace a rasismu. V další části se pak věnuji české integrační politice, historii migrace Syřanů na území ČR a analýze representace muslimů v českých masmédiích. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis discusses the relationship between social integration of Syrians into Czech Republic and negative stigma, that is ascribed to them. I formulated the following reserch questions: In which ways do Syrians in the Czech Republic cope with the stigmatized identity? And how specifically this affects the process of their social integration? I conducted qualitative research in order to get answers to these questions and the results are summarized in this thesis. This work also offers a view into theories of ethnicity, identity, multiculturalism, integration and racism. Another part deals with the Czech integration policy based on Foreigners Integration Concept. Finally the work also offers a view into the history of presence of Syrians in our country and analysis of the representation of Muslims in Czech mass media. |
