| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřila na popis sociálních předpokladů emancipačního boje Afroameričanů a problém rasismu ve Spojených státech amerických. Jako doba sledování bylo určeno období mezi léty 1918 - 1968. Tedy doba, kdy začala velká migrace černošského obyvatelstva z jihu na sever USA. Tento fenomén byl zásadní pro sociální a ekonomickou emancipaci, ale také pro formování budoucí tváře amerických měst. Období bylo také důležité proto, že se jednalo o dobu, kdy se začaly formovat první hnutí, které usilovaly o rasovou emancipaci Afroameričanů a od 50. let. 20. století již byla rasová emancipace plně politicky prosazována. V neposlední řadě se práce zaměřila také na osobnost Martina Luthera Kinga, který se proslavil svým působením v oblasti občanských práv, ale také svou snahou o sociální a ekonomickou rovnoprávnost Afroameričanů. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis focused on the description of the social assumptions of emancipatory struggle of African-Americans and the problem of racism in the United States of America. As a follow-up period was determined between 1918 - the 1968th Thus, a time when blacks began a large migration of population from south to north U.S. This phenomenon has been essential for social and economic emancipation, but also for the formation of future face of American cities. This period was also important because it was a time when it began to form first movement, that sought to the emancipation of African Americans and race from the 50th years. 20th century, when racial emancipation has been fully enforced politically. Finally, the work also focused on the personality of Martin Luther King, best known for his work in civil rights, but also his efforts for social and economic equality for African Americans. |
