| Abstract: | Nevládní organizace od 90. let 20. století zažívají nebývalý rozkvět a stávají se nedílnou součástí mezinárodní politiky. Zvlášť podstatnou roli hrají v iniciaci a prosazování norem mezinárodního humanitárního práva. Svou činností a humanitární rétorikou jsou NGOs schopny měnit identitu států a tak i jejich chování. Tento vztah je demonstrován prostřednictvím pěti smluv: Ottawské konvence, Konvence z Osla, Římského statutu Mezinárodního trestního soudu, Opčního protokolu o právech dítěte a Akčního programu OSN na omezení obchodu s ručními a lehkými palnými zbraněmi. |
| Abstract in different language: | Non-governmental organisations have been blooming since1990s and have become an integral part of international politics. Especially, they play a significant role in initiating and promoting norms of international humanitarian law. NGOs are able to change identity and behaviour of states thanks to their activities and humanitarian rhetoric. This relationship is demonstrated through five treaties: Ottawa Convention, Oslo Convention, Rome Statute of International Criminal Court, Optional protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflicts and UN Program of Action on the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons. |
