| Abstrakt: | Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o zahraničně-politických zájmech klíčových aktérů v Arktidě. Tento region ztrácí svůj charakter zóny kooperace, který nabyl po konci studené války, a stává se oblastí střetu světových mocností. Symbolem této proměny se stalo zapíchnutí ruské vlajky na dno Severního pólu v roce 2007. Tato práce se zabývá zájmy Ruska, USA a Číny. Tyto aktéry vnímá literatura jako světové mocnosti s rozsáhlými ambicemi v regionu. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké mají dané státy zájmy v regionu a jak v něm působí. Práce je vystavěna kolem tří výzkumných otázek. První si klade za cíl, jaké zájmy samotné státy deklarují, což je zjištěno převážně na základě strategických dokumentů. Druhá otázka si klade za cíl zjistit, jak dané státy v regionu působí a jaké lze tedy zjistit zájmy na základě tohoto působení. Třetí otázka si klade za cíl zjistit, jestli dané státy postupují dle deklarovaných zájmů, což lze zjistit na základě komparace deklarovaných zájmů a působení. |
| Abstrakt v dalším jazyce: | This bachelor thesis discusses the foreign policy interests of key actors in the Arctic. This region is losing its character of a zone of cooperation, which it acquired after the end of the Cold War, and is becoming an area of clash between world powers. The planting of the Russian flag at the bottom of the North Pole in 2007 was a symbol of this transformation. This paper examines the interests of Russia, the US and China. These actors are perceived in the literature as world powers with vast ambitions in the region. The aim of this thesis is to determine what interests the states have in the region and how they operate in the region. The thesis is built around three research questions. The first aims to determine what interests the states themselves declare, which is established largely through strategic documents. The second question aims to find out how the states in the region operate and what interests can therefore be identified on the basis of this activity. The third question aims to find out whether the states in question act according to their declared interests, which can be ascertained by comparing declared interests and actions. |
