| Abstract: | Cílem této práce bylo definovat termín "výslovnostní model" a popsat hlavní akcenty anglického jazyka, které jsou preferované Čechy, kteří se učí angličtinu, jako jejich výslovnostní modely. Těmito akcenty jsou Received Pronunciation, General American accent, Scottish English a vcelku nový jev, International English. V praktické části autorka zkoumala současnou situaci a status výslovnosti a jednotlivých výslovnostních modelů mezi vysokoškolskými studenty angličtiny ze dvou různých univerzit. Výsledky tedy ukazují i rozdíly ve vnímání výslovnosti mezi různými skupinami studentů. Dále tato práce obsahuje mnoho příkladů rozdílů mezi jednotlivými akcenty angličtiny. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this thesis was to define the term "pronunciation model" and to describe the main accents of English that are preferred by Czech learners as their pronunciation models. These are Received Pronunciation, General American accent, Scottish English and quite new phenomenon, International English. In the practical part, the author investigated current situation and status of pronunciation and individual pronunciation models among the university students of English from two different universities. Thus the results also show differences of perception of the pronunciation issue between different groups of students. Furthermore, the thesis contains many examples of differences between individual accents of English. |
