| Abstract: | Politická filosofie je součástí filosofie už od jejího počátku v antickém Řecku. Platón, Aristoteles a mnozí další po nich se zabývali otázkami státu a jeho vnitřním uspořádáním. Avšak podobně jako se měnili různé filosofické koncepce, měnil se i náhled na stát, jeho funkce a vnitřní instituce. Nejnovější z těchto teorií má na svědomí Robert Nozick a popisuje ji ve svém díle Anarchy, State and Utopia, která se na problematiku státu dívá z libertariánských pozic. Tvrdí, že stát je potřeba pouze jako držitele monopolu síly, díky kterému je v tomto "minimálním státě" zajišťováno dodržování přirozených lidských práv. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na detailní rozbor fungování takovéhoto státu a následně jej podrobuje kritice dalších myslitelů. Závěr práce je věnován snaze o definici státu spolu s polemikou s touto teorií a jejím přínosem pro politickou filosofii. |
| Abstract in different language: | Political philosophy is a part of philosophy since its beginning in ancient Greece. Plato, Aristotle and many others after them dealt with issues of state and its internal structure. However, with every new philosophical position the outlook on the state, its functions and internal institutions changed. Robert Nozick has been responsible for one of the latest of such theories and describes it in his book Anarchy, State and Utopia which looks at the issue of state from libertarian position. He argues that the state is only required as a holder of monopoly of power, to ensure respect for natural humanrights in what he calls "the minimal state". This bachelor thesis focuses on detailed analysis of the functioning of such a state and then summarizes critical responses of the other thinkers. The conclusion of this thesis is devoted to the effort to define what a state is and to polemic with Nozick's theory and its benefit for political philosophy. |
