| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem mezi identitou a tématikou jídla. Soustředí se na to, jakou úlohu hraje jídlo v životech respondentů či jakou může mít jídlo souvislost se vzpomínkami na jejich minulé zážitky. Stěžejní tématikou práce je koncept paměti ve spojitosti s jídlem. Hlavní metodou této práce je rozhovor, doplňující metodou zúčastněné pozorování. Respondenty jsou studenti Západočeské Univerzity v Plzni a University of Kent ve Velké Británii. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis describes the topic of food in relation to the identity of students of the University of West Bohemia and the University of Kent. It discusses what role a common meal can play in their life or how food can be associated with memories of their past experiences. The major topic of the thesis is the concept of memory in connection with food. The main method of this thesis is an interview and a complementary method is participant observation. |
